Students will be trained to perform a variety of blood collection methods using proper techniques and precautions to prepare for entry-level positions as phlebotomists. Emphasis will be placed on infection prevention, proper patient identification, test requirements, proper labeling of specimens, and quality assurance.
This licensure program will help prepare students to obtain credentials by taking the Nail Technology exam with the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology.
