Spring Break begins Monday, March 26.  Students will return to PLCC Tuesday, April 3.

The NTHS banquet will be Wednesday, April 18 at 6:00 p.m. at Raintree Golf Club.

The Annual Prom Dress Giveaway will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 10am – 2pm. For more information, please see Ms. Woods in Student Services.

Seniors: the Portage Lakes Education Association $500 Scholarship applications are now available in Student Services. Applications are due by April 13.

SENIORS: The Yearbook Staff still needs your baby photos for the yearbook, you can turn them at GHS in the main office. There are a limited number of spots available, so the first students to drop off their photos in the senior baby photo box in the main office will have the best chance to be pictured. Please make sure your name is on the back of the photo, so we can identify you and return your photo.

Key Club is organizing a Green High School Talent Show that will take place on April 26. All proceeds for the Talent Show will be given to a local charity. If you have a talent you would like to share, there is an informational meeting after school on Wednesday, March 21 in the Senior Commons.

Attention Students: Digital Photography is bringing back the Dear World Project beginning today, Monday March 19, – Wednesday March 21. You can sign up in the main office at GHS.


March is the month of the Harvest for Hunger food drive at MHS.

All MHS Mens basketball players should turn in their uniforms to the boys’ team room tomorrow, Tuesday, March 20.

Attention all Varsity, JV and women’s golf from this year-  We will be meeting Tuesday, March 20th in the MHS cafeteria at 6 pm for awards, food and drinks.  Coach Zavodney


Your SHS Senior Dues must be paid in the SHS office as soon as possible. Senior dues are $35 this year and are not waivable through PLCC. Please pay these immediately if you have not done so already.

Attention girls 16 and older in need of a prom dress. Altrusa International is holding their 18th Annual Prom Dress Giveaway Princess Night. It will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 10-2 at Family of Faith United Methodist Church. Stop in the SHS guidance office for more information.

Attention seniors: If you would like to be in the senior slide show, you have until spring break to email a baby photo and an updated photo of you and a friends. Email photos to  If you have hard copies of photos, you can bring them in to Dr. Hartman’s room 302 to scan.

Attention Seniors: Class of 2018 t-shirts are on salefor $15. The t-shirts will be available shortly after Spring Break.

Are you interested in Marching Band Colorguard next year? If so, you must sign up for marching band when scheduling your classes and you must have one year marching experience. For more information contact Mr. Cole, Band Director, or Sandy Peters, Colorguard Instructor. You will need to attend basic skills learning clinics starting April 3 in the junior high gym, every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-8:30 pm.

This year’s play is titled “Back To the Summer”. It is a satirical comedy about students who travel back in time so they don’t have to go back to school at the end of summer!  Auditions will be held March 19 & 20 in room 219. (Right after school) If you are interested in being part of this production, stop by Mrs. Hartong’s classroom for an audition packet and sign up for an audition time.

Just a reminder that the annual Winter Sports Awards night will be held Tuesday, March 20. Student athletes honored are:  Cheerleading, Basketball, Bowling & Wrestling. There will be an “Open House” from 5:30–6:00 in the cafeteria. The ceremony will take place in the auditorium immediately following the open house.    Please dress appropriately for this Awards Ceremony.
