Full-Time
Programs
Our Full-time programs are designed to get you the training you need to start a new career in 10 months or less. Day and evening classes are available to assist you in working around a busy schedule. Financial Aid is available through a variety of sources for Full-time programs.
Part-Time
Programs
Our Part-time programs require 300 hours or less to complete and primarily meet in the evening (with the exception of our Nail Technician program which offers both day and evening classes).

Accreditation
Portage Lakes Career Center is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE). PLCC is also a member of the University System of Ohio and is governed and approved by the Ohio Department of Education. We have the distinction of being designated as a Center for Training Excellence (CTX).

General Admission Information About PLCC Adult Education
Effective January 2024, Portage Lakes Career Center will not require entrance testing as a part of our admissions process. You must have a High School Diploma or GED to move forward in the admissions process.
