How many hours of cosmetology training are required in Ohio?
Students must successfully complete 1,500 hours of training in Ohio to be eligible to take the licensure exam from the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board, through which PLCC’s cosmetology training school is accredited.

Can I get scholarships or financial aid to attend PLCC’s cosmetology training center?
Yes. In addition to tuition payment plans, PLCC is an approved institution for the following types of financial aid:

- Workforce Innovation Opportunity Investment Act (WIOA)
