This dual licensure program will help prepare you for an exciting job as a beauty therapist in not only a spa or salon, but also at resorts and fitness centers, on cruise ships, with physician practices and massage therapists, and as an independent professional.
Take Classes in a Modern Learning Environment
At PLCC, located in Uniontown, OH, you will learn from certified instructors with extensive experience in the beauty industry. Using some of today’s most popular salon brands, you’ll receive advanced beauty technician training in:
- Manicures
- Pedicures
- Artificial nail enhancements
- Skincare
- Makeup application
- Hair removal
- Other critical subjects, such as anatomy, chemistry, safety, and infection control
You may also qualify to participate in internships and to offer services in the PLCC Salon. Upon program completion, you’ll be ready to take your examination from the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board.
