Do more with a career in the beauty industry! With PLCC’s Dual Esthetician & Nail Technician program, get affordable training as a nail tech and an esthetician in just 9 months. This dual licensure program will help prepare you for an exciting job as a beauty therapist in not only a spa or salon, but also at resorts and fitness centers, on cruise ships, with physician practices and massage therapists, and as an independent professional.

Take Classes in a Modern Learning Environment

At PLCC, located in Uniontown, OH, you will learn from certified instructors with extensive experience in the beauty industry. Using some of today’s most popular salon brands, you’ll receive advanced beauty technician training in:

  • Manicures
  • Pedicures
  • Artificial nail enhancements
  • Skincare
  • Makeup application
  • Hair removal
  • Other critical subjects, such as anatomy, chemistry, safety, and infection control

You may also qualify to participate in internships and to offer services in the PLCC Salon. Upon program completion, you’ll be ready to take your examination from the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board.

Students looking to enroll in the above-listed program must submit an official high school or GED transcript to be reviewed. Team members will grant student placement only after evaluating the transcript and determining that it meets all criteria for admission.

Dual esthetician and nail technicians provide clients with both nail tech and skincare services. They are qualified to do mani-pedis, makeup, facials, non-medical skin treatments, waxing and other types of hair removal, and more.
