April Adult Ed Student Spotlight – William Harrouff II

From Decision to Direction:  PLCC Adult Education Student Spotlight

April Spotlight :  HVAC Student – William Harouff II

Meet Will, a natural problem solver who found his path in HVAC and hasn’t looked back.

Will shared that his interest in fixing and figuring things out led him straight to the HVAC field. Not long after starting, he knew he had made the right choice by choosing PLCC. When asked to describe his experience in one word, his answer was simple: opportunity.

That opportunity turned into something real at the PLCC Job Fair. Will connected with a local HVAC company, shared his resume, and landed a full-time position with benefits, starting this May. A reminder that when preparation meets opportunity, great things happen.

He also shared a standout moment in the lab, when the class began working with electricity. That’s when the “spark” hit, and everything clicked – he knew he was exactly where he needed to be.

Will’s advice for anyone considering PLCC? “It’s affordable, worthwhile, and filled with opportunities.”

Looking ahead, he plans to keep learning and growing as an HVAC technician in the field. We’re proud to be part of his journey and excited to see where it leads.

At PLCC, students don’t just learn a skill – they build a future.
