Mrs. Stratos was a graduate of Coventry High School and graduated from Portage Lakes Career Center’s Cosmetology program. She has been in the cosmetology industry for 16 years. She started as an assistant and worked her way to Color Specialist. She also earned her Instructor’s License from the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology. She then ran her own business as a self-employed stylist for 10 years while working at several area high schools doing demonstrations and teaching. Mrs. Stratos transitioned from her established salon career into teaching because she wanted to share her knowledge and passion for the industry with the students of PLCC. Mrs. Stratos is actively pursuing her Technical Education Degree at Kent State University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids.
