Step 2: Pre-Admission Steps - PRACTICAL NURSING STUDENTS ONLY
- Submit transcript to lmcvay@plcc.edu (Please note, some of our clinical sites may require proof of COVID vaccine)
- Upon receipt of your transcript, our Admissions Coordinator will contact you to schedule an interview with the Practical Nursing Coordinator

Step 4: Schedule Appointment With Financial Aid
Contact our Financial Aid Coordinator at 330.896.8123 or financialaid@plcc.edu to complete financial paperwork.
Step 5: Background Check
A background check is required for all medical-related programs and instructions on where to have them done will be provided during the admissions process.

Cash, check, VISA, and MasterCard are accepted for course payment. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Class Confirmations
You may assume that your class will be held unless you are notified that it has been cancelled.
Cancellation of Classes
The Adult Education Department of PLCC reserves the right to cancel, postpone, discontinue or combine classes before or at the first class meeting due to low enrollment. We must cancel classes that do not meet a required minimum enrollment. A minimum of 6 students is needed to ensure operation of most classes; some classes require higher minimum enrollments. If a class is canceled for any of the above reasons, the student will receive a full tuition refund. Attempts are made to contact students whose class has been canceled. To avoid class cancellations, all registrations must be received the Friday before the start of each class.

Portage Lakes Career Center provides placement services to all students who complete full-time programs. Employers interested in receiving resumes of qualified candidates should contact our Job Placement Coordinator at 330.896.8278.
