Student Information

No need to worry about finding your way around a new school. We’re here to help and show you the opportunities to become involved and really gain the most out of your time at PLCC.

Find out how much college credit you can earn from each of our respected college partners, fill out the paperwork for a school-to-work position to gain hands-on experience and earn a paycheck, join the organizations that can best suit your style, and let our guidance department give you the time and attention to prepare for standardized tests, or debate tough career and college options.
All you have to do is take the first step.

Student Handbook

We believe your future is directly affected by your school experiences. Preparation is essential to have a successful future, so we’ve compiled a handbook to outline the goals and expectations of our students.

Career Services

Early Work Placement

PLCC is all about giving you every advantage to market yourself and get your foot-in-the-door.

We encourage you to excel in academics and program labs so that you can participate in our school-to-work program.

School-to-work is all about applying your skills in the job market and being paid for your talents. We partner with several businesses around the district to provide you a working atmosphere to really learn about your potential career field. To learn more about our school-to-work program, see Ms. Clarke.

Drivers Education

PLCC will be offering the Ohio driver’s education course at no cost to interested students (ages 15 years and 5 months through 17). The coursework is online and facilitated by All-Star Driver Education. Students who successfully complete the coursework earn a certificate of completion.  The certificate of completion can be presented to any credentialed Ohio driving school to continue with the driving portion (required driving hours) of the training. The driving portion of the training is not funded by PLCC.
