Lucas Halvorson

Lucas is a consistent and high-achieving student. While he has a quiet demeanor, he is always polite and professional. His dedication is immediately evident through his great attendance record.

 

In the classroom, Lucas takes his related work very seriously. He is a model student who actively studies, takes detailed notes, and participates in review sessions.

 

In the lab, Lucas’s work ethic is just as impressive. He is a top-level performer who works hard and is never off-task. He demonstrates a great mechanical ability and a deep understanding of his craft, setting a positive example for all his peers.

Mason Green

Mason is an excellent student. He is grasping the content of HVAC quickly, he displays outstanding workmanship, and goes above and beyond to help other students. His professionalism and positive attitude in the classroom and lab helps set the tone for other students to follow. 

Victoria Barlow

Victoria comes to class everyday prepared and with a professional attitude. She leads by example in the classroom and the lab. She is always willing to help me and others in her class.   She also currently has perfect attendance!! 

Eva Brown

Eva is an exemplary student! She is organized, on time and ready to work (with a smile) each and every day. She is always engaged and interested in everything she is learning. Eva is well-liked by the class because she is always kind, respectful and helpful to everyone!

Quinten Williams

Quinn is a fantastic student who shows up and works hard every day. He’s always willing to tackle projects that come in the door, and loves to design 3D prints. I am so proud of the progress he has made and the skills he’s attained.

Chase Thompson

Chase is a top welding student who leads and helps students in welding and other programs. He will weld and fix anything put in front of him. Chase is so motivated every day. Chase acts as the senior shop foreman, making sure everything is on and closing up at the end of the day! He improves every day in the lab and in soft skills as well. When asked to do something, he does it and does it right! He is a true ambassador of the welding class.

Destiny Broda

Destiny is kind and smart, and is always willing to help her classmates. She is grasping the concepts in dental assisting very well and does not hesitate to help others who may have questions or need further clarification on the materials.

Matthew Paljich

Matt is an NTHS member. He is a top welder and fabricator in welding. He learns fast and keeps moving forward! He will do above and beyond in the lab and classroom. He will work with anyone, anytime, sharing his knowledge and helping along the way. Matt is a true mentor to other students in the welding program.

Ty Carlson

Ty has performed to the highest standards, whilst representing Portage Lakes Career Center, this summer.  His employer has relayed to me  his eagerness to learn, his attention to detail and positive attitude which makes him an ideal employee. I don’t think it is too early to say that Ty will  someday join the Mount Rushmore of Plumbers in the future.

Jaden Bracken

Jaden continues to display kindness and professionalism in the classroom and lab. He is always willing to assist me and other students in any way. He is always on time and ready to work upon arrival to class. Jaden works hard and has a positive attitude in the classroom and lab. 

Sam King

Sam is prompt, polite, and a pleasure to have in class. She cleans and sanitizes classroom tables after the half day students leave, sweeps the floor, and is always one step ahead of the game!

Ayden Meade

Ayden is a fantastic student who works hard every day. He always has a smile on his face and greets me every morning. Ayden is always looking for the next challenging task or project. He’s currently the lead designer on a cart for our welding lab. He’s had to work one-on-one with Mr. Mariana to design the cart, and he’s now preparing to utilize the burn table to start production on it. I am very proud of Ayden!

Joseph Horinger

Joe is always prepared for class, eager to learn, and does an outstanding job helping his classmates when they do not fully understand a concept.

Aerian Cole

Aerian is exemplary of being RESPONSIBLE, KIND, and HARD-WORKING. Aerian has excellent attendance, arrives early to class, and begins working immediately. All class assignments are on time and well-done. Aerian’s grades have soared in excellence due to consistently good work ethic and willingness to learn. 

Morgan Mundy

Morgan has consistently gone above & beyond in cosmetology. She is kind & helpful to everyone. Has an eager to learn & participate, positive attitude. She has come in after school & has met her junior hours requirements. She is trustworthy, dependable, & professional.

Kaylee Glor

Kaylee is a ray of sunshine every single day. She is the first to ask how you are doing, and is willing to help anyone who needs it. She challenges herself daily and always picks projects that are above the average level of difficulty. She’s also a member of NTHS.

Anthony Adamson

Anthony is an all around great student who makes a positive impact on everyone he meets.

Sophia Walberg

Sophia is always prepared, she works hard and has a positive attitude.



Ava Knott

Ava’s smile and consistent positive energy and attitude resonate from her every day. Ava is an excellent student. She works very hard, she is organized, has excellent grades, and is always willing to help others. Moreover, Ava is just fun and pleasant to be around! She also is an officer with SkillsUSA.



Raith Pendleton

Raith has done great at doing what is expected, but also moving forward with workloads above and beyond requirements.

Cadyn Mettler

Cayden (wheels) Has been a solid hard-working student in the lab and classroom. He is employed by Kovatch Kasting’s as a GTAW (TIG) welder.

 

Connor Jermont

Very polite young man who I can count on to be on task and pay attention.  Took advantage of a job shadow opportunity which will hopefully turn into a job opportunity in the near future.  Shows responsibility and maturity. 



 

Avalyn Buck

Avalyn is a top scholar and welder in the welding program. Avalyn is motivated and a true leader in class!! Avalyn is the only welding student to achieve the NTHS this year. She wastes no time in the classroom or the lab! Avalyn is quick to help classmates. She is a great student and welder. She has maintained an A both years!

 

Andrew Berry

Andrew is an amazing student. He brings ideas and perspectives into class that are unique which adds to our class discussions. He’s been using his free time to develop his Eagle Scout project using what he’s learned in class, which is an excellent use of free time. I can’t wait to see where Andrew goes in the future!



 

Kayla Munn

Kayla Munn is a highly motivated student in the Fire Academy at PLCC, and a multi-sport athlete at Coventry High School. She has great attendance, is very punctual, and always gives 100%. Kayla consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and excels both academically and in training drills. She recently pushed herself outside of her comfort zone to perform very well in the phlebotomy class. Kayla’s hardworking nature and determination to succeed make her a standout student and athlete.



Paul Okoye

Paul is the superhero of DCM. His work ethic, attitude, enthusiasm, creativity and character are beyond amazing, and he is such a force for good in the DCM Lab and across the entire PLCC. Paul is a leader. He’s supportive of his peers. He is thoughtful and considerate of others. Paul is simply an outstanding human, and I cannot say enough about how wonderful he is to have as a student, and how excited I am to follow him in his future endeavors.

Becca Lee

Becca is always ready to learn, she works well with everyone and is always willing to help where she can!!



Ethan Crady

Ethan has demonstrated hard work and dedication to learning here in the classroom. He is always willing to help others when and if he can.
