Joe is always prepared for class, eager to learn, and does an outstanding job helping his classmates when they do not fully understand a concept.

Aerian is exemplary of being RESPONSIBLE, KIND, and HARD-WORKING. Aerian has excellent attendance, arrives early to class, and begins working immediately. All class assignments are on time and well-done. Aerian’s grades have soared in excellence due to consistently good work ethic and willingness to learn. 

Morgan has consistently gone above & beyond in cosmetology. She is kind & helpful to everyone. Has an eager to learn & participate, positive attitude. She has come in after school & has met her junior hours requirements. She is trustworthy, dependable, & professional.

Kaylee is a ray of sunshine every single day. She is the first to ask how you are doing, and is willing to help anyone who needs it. She challenges herself daily and always picks projects that are above the average level of difficulty. She’s also a member of NTHS.

Anthony is an all around great student who makes a positive impact on everyone he meets.

Sophia is always prepared, she works hard and has a positive attitude.

Ava’s smile and consistent positive energy and attitude resonate from her every day. Ava is an excellent student. She works very hard, she is organized, has excellent grades, and is always willing to help others. Moreover, Ava is just fun and pleasant to be around! She also is an officer with SkillsUSA.

Raith has done great at doing what is expected, but also moving forward with workloads above and beyond requirements.

Cayden (wheels) Has been a solid hard-working student in the lab and classroom. He is employed by Kovatch Kasting’s as a GTAW (TIG) welder.

Very polite young man who I can count on to be on task and pay attention.  Took advantage of a job shadow opportunity which will hopefully turn into a job opportunity in the near future.  Shows responsibility and maturity. 

Avalyn is a top scholar and welder in the welding program. Avalyn is motivated and a true leader in class!! Avalyn is the only welding student to achieve the NTHS this year. She wastes no time in the classroom or the lab! Avalyn is quick to help classmates. She is a great student and welder. She has maintained an A both years!

Andrew is an amazing student. He brings ideas and perspectives into class that are unique which adds to our class discussions. He’s been using his free time to develop his Eagle Scout project using what he’s learned in class, which is an excellent use of free time. I can’t wait to see where Andrew goes in the future!

Kayla Munn is a highly motivated student in the Fire Academy at PLCC, and a multi-sport athlete at Coventry High School. She has great attendance, is very punctual, and always gives 100%. Kayla consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and excels both academically and in training drills. She recently pushed herself outside of her comfort zone to perform very well in the phlebotomy class. Kayla’s hardworking nature and determination to succeed make her a standout student and athlete.

Paul is the superhero of DCM. His work ethic, attitude, enthusiasm, creativity and character are beyond amazing, and he is such a force for good in the DCM Lab and across the entire PLCC. Paul is a leader. He’s supportive of his peers. He is thoughtful and considerate of others. Paul is simply an outstanding human, and I cannot say enough about how wonderful he is to have as a student, and how excited I am to follow him in his future endeavors.

Becca is always ready to learn, she works well with everyone and is always willing to help where she can!!

Ethan has demonstrated hard work and dedication to learning here in the classroom. He is always willing to help others when and if he can.

Linda has been such a pleasure to have in the cosmetology program! She is so kind to all of her classmates and demonstrates professionalism daily. She does her CIMA homework to 100% and makes sure to come to school. I have truly enjoyed watching her come out of her shell. Before holiday break, Linda delivered cards to each of her classmates with a small gift which I believe to be so thoughtful to think of her classmates. She demonstrates the caring heart that is needed is the cosmetology industry in connecting with people. I’m truly so proud of all of her hard work and I’m excited to see where this industry takes her. Way to go Linda!

Cody is always focused in the classroom and in lab.  He pays attention, asks questions and answers questions.  He recently took advantage of a job shadowing opportunity which lead to him submitting an application at Klaben Ford.  Reliable, dependable and trustworthy. 

Kierstin is always on time and prepared to start the day!

Cameron has been a true leader in welding from last year to this year. He is kind, works hard, and is responsible! He is on Placement at MAC LLT in Kent. He is the youngest certified welder Mac has had at the plant. He is a true ambassador to the welding field. Cameron exemplifies this as a member of the American Welding Society and Skill USA. Cameron is a go to person to help others and get tasks done right and on time. He is a true pleasure to have in class.

Dorian always has a positive attitude in class and is a very polite young man.  I can count on him to be on task and ask for help as needed.  I enjoy having him in class.  He was responsible and took advantage of a voluntary job shadow opportunity recently.  

Cohen is the model student. He consistently shows up, works hard, and helps others in the class. He never hesitates to do what is asked of him, and he often asks to do more. He loves to be challenged, and exceeds all expectations set for him. He’s the example for all other students to follow.

Yadin is a quick learner and can readily apply what he has learned. Yadin does well in challenging problems and does not get discouraged with increasing levels of difficulty. He will persist until he achieves the goal.  Yadin has performed well in class and lab. He was placed with Russell Electric and has only positive work reviews from his supervisors. In addition, he has had a fantastic year in Manchester football where he led his team to an undefeated season in his conference as starting quarterback.

Tyler spends his own time developing fun, creative and engaging games in pharmacology for his classmates. He does not expect any extra reward for his efforts. In addition, during instruction, Tyler asks very thought-provoking questions that often end up being a teaching moment for everyone. He has grown to be a very appreciated and well-liked friend to our tight-knit group of learners!

Jace is a solid student in the classroom and welding lab. He is on time and always completes his assignments. Jace is the first to answer questions on the classroom and lab.

He is extremely motivated. He is a top welder in the junior class. Leading by example. He takes time to help other students in class as well as me. He represents Work Hard, Be Kind, and Be Responsible! He love welding and it shows! Jace is an ambassador to the welding industry and PLCC! 

Madison is always willing to help out!! She participates in class and always has a good and positive attitude!!

Nathan is a very bright student that is self-motivated, curious and reliable. Nathan thinks ahead and is able to anticipate tasks to do next and is happy to go beyond assigned activities. He is very helpful to the instructor and fellow classmates.  He is capable of solving complex problems as demonstrated by developing a programmable logic controller program to control both directions (N-S, E-W) of a traffic signal including pedestrian walk signaling.

Shiny is an enthusiastic and motivated learner. Her awesome grades reflect her exceptional study skills. Shiny is also nonjudgmental; she is respectful and kind to everyone. Her warm, fun energy is contagious and contributes to our classroom dynamic of turning a very difficult subject into a fun learning experience each day!  

Justyce is an exceptional student ~ she arrives on time every day, prepared and ready to work. Her excellent work ethic is reflected in her outstanding grades. She is also professional in her appearance and demeanor. Justyce is working at ACME as a Certified Pharmacy Technician Trainee and is doing very well.

Elina does what she is asked without complaint and is always on task. She is always smiling and is always pleasant. 

Zack is a top welder and fabricator in the class. He leads by example. He is currently working from the middle of his junior year until now at A&B Machining. he helps everyone in class and  has max class participation. He is kind, Works Hard and is Responsible!! Zack represents the welding industry and PLCC very well. 

Arden is respectful in his program while carrying out the responsibilities of being an achiever on campus.  I have not observed a single incidence of a lack of courtesy since his initial arrival on campus.  He is a model student!

Ian exemplifies the “team attitude” we try to bring to the Design, Communication and Marketing Program every day. He is always happy to help a fellow DCM member who needs an extra hand with a project, and he has become a frequent “go-to” student when his peers need feedback on their work or support with brainstorming. 

Rachel is consistently hard working and pleasant. She is organized, punctual, and achieves excellent grades. Rachel has a kind, quiet demeanor. She is always respectful and helpful to her class peers. She is exemplary in displaying professionalism by her appearance and her verbal and written communication. For these reasons and more, I recommend Rachel Thomas for Student of the Month.

Trey is a model student. He understands what it means to be here and the opportunities that are presented to him. Trey has embraced CTE and taking full advantage of it. He always helps others and is a leader in class. Trey is currently in the process of trying to obtain an IT focused internship to participate in this summer.

Emily is such a joy to have in class. She comes in with a positive attitude and works hard. She is also a friend to everyone. She is super kind and works well with her classmates.

Mason Braswell, is a Springfield full day student in the Law and Criminal Justice program. Mason constantly achieves high scores on homework and testing. He demonstrates leadership qualities by taking initiative and motivating his peers. 

Mason has a positive attitude even in challenging situations, showing resilience and being a role model for others. Mason displays honesty, integrity, kindness and respect toward peers, teachers and staff. Mason is on several different sports teams at Springfield High School.

Travis is one of the top welders in Welding Technology.  Travis is quick and fast to help other students and myself in the lab and classroom. Travis has obtained an AWS 3G FCAW certification. Travis works hard in the lab and is a top fabricator as well. He has the most positive attitude. Travis leads by example!  He brings the class to challenge themselves!  Travis has so much ambition from welding. It’s so great to see his enthusiasm. Travis Represents our program with the highest regards!!

Caden is an extremely hard-working student.  He completes all assignments accurately and on time.  He demonstrates exemplary behavior!  Caden is a pleasure to have in class.  He qualifies  for open campus and still completes all work on his own.  

Caden works diligently to maintain an A average.  He exemplifies “Work Hard, Be Kind, Be Responsible.” He always interacts with his peers and his teachers in a respectful, positive manner.  When he works in a group, he actively contributes to it and demonstrates leadership qualities.  

Tawney comes to school every day with a positive attitude, is eager to learn, and helps with anything and everything that needs to be done! Tawny is a go- getter and is always there to offer a helping hand! 

Taylor is a motivated student who is always willing to learn and to be present in class. Taylor is a quiet leader who is motivated to learn and help others.Taylor is an active listener and is always aware of the people around her. Taylor consistently exhibits a remarkable level of humility that is truly inspiring. I believe that Taylor would be an exceptional candidate for Student of the Month as she embodies the values, expectations, and excellence of PLCC.

When Mrs. Weigand and I created groups for English class, we realized Kam could work with any group because she is KIND, respectful, and diligent.  She embodies all the traits that are part of PBIS.  Further, she is a leader who will make sure that a task is completed and all group members participate.  She deserves to be recognized as Student of the Month.

He is the best student I have had yet. He is so eager to learn and excels in everything taught to him. He maintains a positive attitude and is a leader.

Logan works hard in class and sticks with a job even if it gets tedious.  He seems to really have a good grasp on things we have learned and knows how to apply it to the jobs he works on in class.

Braylon is a team player with a positive attitude! He comes to school every day with a smile on his face and goes above and beyond in lab and the restaurant!

Skylar goes above & beyond in Cosmetology & theory. She does all that is expected of her & more. She has a wonderful attitude & I know I can count on her to do what I ask & to do it to the best of her ability. She is kind, passionate about cosmetology & is a go getter. She has already made her own cosmetology social media account to advertise herself before I even assigned it as an assignment! She also has been getting herself booked on customer service days by having clients ask for her. She already has a very prestigious salon lined up to work at!

He is an extremely hardworking student who constantly finds things that need to be done around the lab and then does it without me asking. He typically sweeps the lab, dumps the trash cans, puts tools away while other students find ways to avoid these tasks

Adam is an awesome student. He’s incredibly funny and works hard every day. He was instrumental in completing the 60-some-odd rooms that needed updated with emergency fire and tornado plans. He worked with Lt. Saler to ensure the plans were exactly what Saler was looking for, and he worked fast to complete the project. I appreciate Adam’s effort and his work ethic.

Noah is a winner of my Jason Bourne Award.  He is the silent assassin as he moves through his assignments, quickly finishing off each one with stealth, quickness and ease.  Noah is always on task, asks great questions, and sees each job through to completion.  He is a great leader who can head up any team, work with any other student and strives to get the job done right the first time.

Anthony is always eager to learn new material in class. He has a positive attitude and a willingness to help others.

Kias is very respectful and helpful, he stays on task and asks for help as needed. 

Decklan is unfailingly thoughtful, hard working, considerate of others. He’s also witty, creative, and so talented. He is just so awesome to have in class.

Shylah has made great improvements in our class. The first quarter was difficult for Shylah. She struggled to keep her grades up and to turn in her assignments. However, at the start of the second quarter, Shylah made her grades and assignments her main priority. Shylah uses her focus period to study and ask questions about her assignments. She is determined to do well during her time at PLCC. Shylah is making great strides in her academics and is a positive, hard-working student. 

Grace Frient is by far one of the kindest, most respectful students I have had the pleasure of knowing. Grace is also an excellent student. She is a very hard worker and prepared every day to put forth her best. She is dependable, punctual, organized and very responsible. Grace is so kind to all of her peers; she takes care of everyone around her and never has an unkind word about anyone or anything. I have admired Grace from the day I met her for her strength, hard work, compassion, and knowledge of her family farm. She genuinely loves her family and home life. Grace has a big, warm smile that lights up the room and reflects the beauty within her. For these reasons and many more, I highly and graciously recommend Grace Frient for student of the month!

Tevin is such a great student. He jumps right in and volunteers to solve problems in class. He helps the students around him and has a great attitude.

Phoenix is responsible, trustworthy, hard worker that seems to take pride in doing her best & giving her all. She completes all that is expected of her in theory & lab not just to get it done, but to do it well. She has helped her classmates in lab that were struggling to pick up the lesson. She also helps beyond her lab job in the lab. I know if I ask Phoenix to do something it will get done & she will do her best.

Cole is a lot more focused in his academic class this year. He is working extremely hard, and has kept up with his work, even when he has missed class. Cole transitioned from small group classes last year to co-taught classes for both English and Math, and he is doing well in both classes, completing work and asking for help when he needs it.

Ethan is doing great so far in his senior year of Auto Tech. He is employed at Klaben Ford. Ethan is very polite, responsible and helpful. He often comes to the lab during focus period to either get caught up with lab work or help prep things for the next class

Geoffrey is always willing to help out in class. He has been doing an outstanding job helping his classmates learn how to run the excavator and skid loader.

A’Leigha is always on time and prepared for class. She consistently turns in quality work on time and maintains a positive and friendly attitude.
