Automotive Services Worker II


The Summit County Engineer Office is looking for an Automotive Service Worker II. This position performs preventative maintenance and light mechanic work in an automotive/heavy truck/equipment facility. The employee will be responsible for the simple repair and preventative maintenance work on a wide variety of automotive, heavy truck, and construction equipment. Must exercise independent judgement in carrying out assignments. Performs road service calls for equipment broken in the field.

Must have or obtain a valid State of Ohio Commercial Drivers License Class B with air brakes within six months of employment through a free in-house training program. Wage range: $25.87 – $27.23
