Full-Time/Part-Time
Cook – Full Time
CHC Addiction Services is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction.
We are currently looking for a Full Time Cook for our Food Services team for our Residential Facilities. Hours will be 5:00am-1:30pm Monday through Friday along with one weekend per month from 9:00am-5:30pm, with days off during the week. Rotating weekends and holidays.
We are also looking for a Part Time Cook, 10 hours a week, preferably Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Duties Include:
Minimum requirements:
One year cooking experience; Have sufficient dexterity to handle food and equipment efficiently and safely; Able to lift up to 30 lbs; Able to work on feet for long periods of time as a great deal of time is spent on foot either continuously walking or standing. ServSafe is preferred, but can be provided after probation period. Must have a valid driver’s license and must pass a background check and drug test.

LPN – Full Time

We are currently seeking a full time LPN for our Outpatient MAT Program to work from 5:00am until 1:30pm, Monday through Friday and every other weekend from 5:00am until 10:30am.
Duties Include:
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of certified LPN program, current Ohio LPN license, and current CPR certification.

Maintenance Technician – Full Time
CHC Addiction Services is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction.
We are currently looking for a motivated, conscientious and dedicated full-time Maintenance Technician to maintain facilities and equipment in a safe and operational manner.
Duties Include:
Although the normal schedule will be 7:30am-4:00pm Monday through Friday, there may be occasional evening and weekend hours as projects or emergencies arise.
Minimum Requirements: Must have High School Diploma and be experienced in diversified industrial, construction, or facility maintenance, have knowledge of building construction, electrical, heating, plumbing repair and painting. Must also be familiar with tools, equipment and practices ordinarily required for building maintenance. Must be an organized self starter, will to work both independently or with a team. Must have a good driving record and a valid Ohio Drivers license.
IT Assistant – Full Time
CHC Addiction Services is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction.
We are currently seeking a full time, onsite, IT Assistant to provide technical support for CHC personal computers. This entry-level position places service calls to vendors on a priority basis, assists CHC Staff on their technology questions, monitors incoming requests (IT work orders), contacts requestor to clarify and resolve their issue or, escalates the issue keeping Director and IT Staff appraised of activities. Primary responsibility of CHC’s IT help desk operations falls within this position’s activities. This position must follow up on the service calls to be proactive in closing and completing outstanding issues. Will assist with Electronic Health Record system. The IT Assistant performs reporting activities as assigned by the Director and administratively supports the IT Department.
Minimum requirements: High School Diploma; proficiency in personal computer and printer repair including hardware maintenance necessary. Proficiency in All Microsoft® Windows® Operating Systems. Must have the ability to work with a team or workgroup, follow directions, organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in an environment where constant interruption occurs. A willing attitude and flexibility is necessary as this position works with all levels of staff and the priorities might change abruptly. Self-confidence and mature work ethic is required.
