CNC Machinist

Full-Time 

DESCRIPTION

1st shift: Four 10 hr days/week + OT on fifth day (5:00a-3:30p)
Wage range $18-30/hr

Essential Functions
• Operate machine tool with engineering support and training to produce high quality product which meets customer specifications
• Responsible for quality, production standards, safety, and scrap records
• Change cutting tools as required
• 1st piece an in-process inspection of manufactured components to verify adherence to print and process specifications
• Keep accurate documentation and piece count
• Move product throughout facility by use of pallet jack and tow motor
• May be required to assist in other general shop functions as needed
• Standing and walking for 10 hours minimum duration with minimal break periods
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs without the support of crane or hoist

REQUIREMENTS

• Basic shop math
• Proficient use of precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Use of basic hand tools
• Ability to work in team environment to achieve established goals per a production schedule
• Ability to work well with others under minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade school or specific training certification pertaining to the precision machining industry
