Job Details

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) is someone who works directly with people who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. DSPs aim to assist people in realizing their full potential.

Summit DD is collaborating with Providers in Summit County to assist them in their search for the right, reliable, energetic & passionate DSPs to provide safe & supported care for the individuals in their programs.

Salary

$13-$16 depending on hiring agency and experience

Assisting individual(s) with daily living skills

Assisting individual(s) with job specific skills

Assisting individual(s) with engaging in daily chores

Teach/support relationship building skills

Teach/support problem solving skills/conflict resolution

Providing individual(s) with opportunities for community engagement/outings

Zoo, movies, grocery store, parks, etc.

Perform daily record keeping
