APO Pumps & Compressors is hiring for General Shop Labor.
The general shop labor position will help the pump mechanics and machinists with daily responsibilities.
This will be an entry level position with the intent to grow within the shop and company.
Duties to include:
-Cleaning and sandblasting parts
-Helping to teardown pumps for inspections
-Helping with assembling pumps
-Assist technicians with (local) field jobs
-General shop cleaning
-Prepping pumps for delivery including painting, tagging and affixing to a pallet
Qualifications
-High School Diploma preferred
-Clean driving record preferred
-Able to work on feet 8 hours a day
-Able to lift 50 pounds safely
-Able to operate tow motor and overhead crane
-Basic understanding of shop safety and use of PPE
-Basic computer skills (use of tablets, email, and MS office apps)
-Able to work with a team to achieve goals and meet deadlines
-A want to learn and grow

**APO to provide safety training relevant to position and duties**
**APO to provide tow motor training as required by OSHA**
