LPN Staff Nurse

CommQuest seeks an LPN Staff Nurse for our Cleveland Ave MedSom Department located in Canton, Ohio.

Also seeking part-time and full-time LPN Staff Nurses (float) for our Stark County Outpatient and Detox facilities located in Canton.   You will provide assessments, medications, and other medical treatment directed by your supervisor for clients suffering from addiction.

 

CommQuest also seeks a Staff Nurse to be a member of the Quick Response Team (QRT) under the umbrella of the Stark County Sheriff’s Department. QRT is responsible for triage, support, education, Naloxone kit distribution, services navigation, and linkage to treatment services in response to the opioid epidemic in Stark County. QRT is made up of a deputy, a nurse, and a social worker who work to provide outreach and engagement within the county to those who experience non-fatal overdoses.

What you’ll do:

Will treat clients by providing assessments, medications, injections and any other medical treatment as directed by their Supervisors
Responsible for providing supportive medical support services – symptom/medication monitoring when psychotropic medications are being prescribed
Accurate and timely record keeping is essential
Ability to assess clients, provide compassionate/personalized client support and coordinate all aspects of a client’s health care as needed
All other duties as assigned

 

Schedule:

The work schedule is full-time, Monday to Friday (No Weekends and No holidays)

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum LPN currently licensed in the State of Ohio, with no current license restrictions
Licensure through NAPNES/OOPNES on basic concepts of Pharmacology and Administration of Medicine
Previous knowledge of mental health and/or addictions is highly desired
Must be professional and team player working together for the benefit of our clients
