Job Description: Mechanical Assembler
Plan and perform a normal range of operations connected with the assembly and erection of company-produced machines. Work involves working from complex drawings and a considerable number of component parts that require skill and care to align, fit, and assemble into units and obtain exacting operating performance and appearance.

Electrical Assembler daily tasks will include:
Plan and perform a normal range of operations connected with the assembly and erection of company-produced machines. Work involves working from complex drawings and a considerable number of component parts that require skill and care to align, fit, and assemble into units and obtain exacting operating performance and appearance. Learning role; focus is on less complex assemblies and assist with more complex projects Under direct supervision, perform installation and wiring of electrical components on company produced equipment.
Other Tasks includes
Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions
Assemble basic electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings using rivets, bolts, and soldering equipment
Label, wire and connect switch boxes and control panel terminal boards from basic wiring diagrams
Check wiring for proper coding and termination; check for shorts, grounds, and continuity
Assist with the detection of defective material, unusual conditions or operating difficulties and report to supervisor
Attend team meetings; may provide input on quality, cost, or production issues
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition
Other duties as assigned
Preferred:
Experience in a manufacturing setting
Requirements:
Machine building experience is required
Knowledge of Blueprints and Schematics

Must be able to stand, bend , kneel for 8 hours
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
Preferred:
Experience with hand tools

Entry-level shop/field position that typically requires little to no prior knowledge or experience. Work is closely supervised and is routine or follows standard procedures.

Plan and perform a normal range of rough and finish turning, drilling, tapping, boring, facing, recessing, thread cutting and similar machining operations on a variety of shafts, housings heads, and parts of various ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. Work from drawings, route sheets, specifications and instructions to determine operational sequence; set tools in cross slides or tail stock; select and set speeds and feeds according to the type of material and finish requirements; move selector lever or change gears for thread cutting.
Job Description: Material Handler
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Work from shop orders, receiving reports, material requisitions, repair order lists and/or verbal instructions to identify disposition of materials
Assist with receiving, identifying, issuing and storing material/parts in established location using appropriate identification method
Fill and distribute basic material and repair orders
Label, pack and load items for shipment according to specifications
Assist with unloading of incoming trucks as directed; inspect for damage; compare items and quantities received against freight bills
Assist with maintaining records of all items received and shipped
Assist with cycle count to maintain inventory accuracy
Assist with detection of defective materials, unusual conditions or operating difficulties and report to supervisor
Operate materials handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or organize storage
Responsible for the proper handling and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements (USA only). Correctly label and date hazardous waste drums and transfer to authorized waste vendor. Recognize spills/leaks and handle as trained and in accordance to company policy
Attend team meetings; may provide input on quality, cost, or production issues
Regularly and effectively communicate and interact with other team members
Regular and predictable attendance at the worksite and on any assigned shift or work schedule is required for this position, as is the ability to work frequent overtime; this is not a job that can be performed remotely
Maintain equipment and work area in clean and orderly fashion
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Other duties as assigned
