Orthodontic Assistant

DESCRIPTION

Sub Title

Orthodontic assistant position available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Chairside orthodontic assisting including fitting orthodontic bands on molars, preparing teeth for brackets, removal and placement of archwires, patient instructions, sterilization, disinfecting patient chairs and treatment units, taking panoramic and lateral cephalometric radiographs, taking alginate impressions, and ordering dental & orthodontic supplies. Responsibilities also include pouring impressions with orthodontic stone, trimming orthodontic models, and fabrication and finishing of clear orthodontic retainers.
