DESCRIPTION

CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.

We are currently seeking a full-time Security Officer to primarily monitor our North Campus. Duties include: performing regular inspections of the video surveillance system; reporting all safety and/or security hazards and discrepancies; reporting and responding to all accidents, incidents, and injuries that may occur; and ensuring a safe environment for visitors, staff, and patrons of CHC. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00am-1:00pm.

Minimum Requirements: Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent and a clean driving record. Must also maintain OPOTA certification and have training in non-violent crisis intervention, CPR, and first aid.

Hourly Rate: $20.28
