Full time/part-time/nights/weekends, in-home care or in a facility

 

GENERAL DUTIES:

As a Hospice Aide (STNA/Aide/Nurse Aide) duties will include assisting the clinical department with the day-to-day tasks associated with a growth oriented, compliant and excellence driven agency. This includes, but is not limited performing personal care, as directed and indicated by the plan of care, supervised by an RN and working with patients and families, and all other duties to ensure that patients receive services 24/7, 365 days a year.

 

To succeed in this role, the individual must have the ability to work well under the RN, Team Leaders and the Clinical Director, and must meet all the requirements listed in this job description.


The Hospice Aide must exhibit compassion and the ability to provide safe care as well as basic problem-solving skills and must be flexible and the ability to take directives. Will also require skills to be an exceptional communicator. Must work well with members of the IDG, staff within the hospice agency, referral sources, contracted facilities and the community. Must arrive on time, as scheduled,
and prepared to work and perform assigned tasks and duties.
