Ron Balis
Meet the Teacher: Ron Balis
I am a graduate of CVCC’s Automotive Technology program as well as Tri-C’s Automotive Service Educational Program, ASEP, a General Motors training course. I began teaching part time in Tri-C’s Advanced Auto Tech program over 10 years ago and have taught full time at PLCC for over 6 years now.
Prior to teaching full time, I worked 18 years as an automotive technician in GM dealerships and at an independent shop. I currently hold ASE Master Technician and Advanced Level Engine Performance (L1) certifications. My wife and I have been married for over 19 years and we have 4 children. My hobbies are snowmobiling, camping, indoor and beach volleyball, model railroading, and occasionally off-roading.
